I'm just starting the linux public beta, and I can't connect to the project. Hi, I would erase all files except the boinc client and try again, it could be reading invalid prefs from the .xml files. Also use http://climateprediction.net to attach to (to be consistent) |

Delete everything from except the boinc client and try again? (Note: See the Linux forum for more information on the errors some of us have received) Thanks DaveN |

Yeah on a major crash it's probably best to go to the boinc directory and: rm -rf projects slots *.xml *.html lock* (that's assuming there's no SETI or other project info you need to keep, i.e. you want to remove everything except boinc_4.02* client) |
