Backup whole BOINC folder.
You cn simply put it on a new system and start via shortcut or install BOINC then overwrite with your backup...

Ok, I have Boinic on Windows XP Service Pack 2 and I am ending up running Mandrake Linux 10.1 more often than I do windows so I was wondering if there was any way that I can port my project to run on both operating systems depending upon which one I happen to be running or how I would go about to transfering it to run on Linux since I run that more often??

Thanks,

Sean

There's been several queries about that since BOINC CPDN first launched, and the replies have all indicated that it is not possible. Don't have the threads available at the moment, however.

FWIW - The general consensus seems to be the Linux client runs 10 - 15% faster.

Crandles - You might have considered making this post a bit more brief. ;-)
