Might be a server side cache issue but it's strange in this case : 4 trickles (44-47) from one of my machines (134692) came in after reconnecting it to the router. After some time the credits on home.php went up as expected. But now it went back to the previous value. I summed up the total credits of my computers and the sum of their total is higher now than the total user credits. It isn't a local browser cache issue as I cross-checked with 2 other browsers. Could it be a problem that this machine never received a model but continued a model that crashed host 81480 on Trickle 24 ? edit: The problem has been fixed when the next trickle from a different model / computer arrived so there seems not to be a problem. |

This does really happen even if it was just a cooincidence in this case. The various numbers are kept seperately and not added to get the grand total so they can be different. Usually the total total credit will be higher than the sum of the computers total credit since old computers may have been deleted. The total RAC will normally be lower than the sum of the computers RAC since the total is updated more frequently. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
