Hi I have windows xp home edition with an athlon xp 2800 plus 512mb ddr ram with 2 hard drives one has 30 gigs free the other has about 35 i'm not over clocking. When I start to compute the data windows gives me an error message saying hadsm3um_4.12_windows_intelx86.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I can get about 12 seconds into the computing and then I get this error message and shuts down.
I'm running SETI@Home and it works fine. Any Ideas?
Thanks

I presume you have tried rebooting your computer.

Climateprediction is a pretty intensive task and does seem a lot more sensitive to computer stability problems than most other things you are likely to have run on your computer with the possible exception of programs deliberately designed to test stability. Have you tried any stability testing programs such as those mentioned in
