I have clicked many times on "edit email address" in my account information. I replace "verification pending" with my valid email address, and am told that an email has been sent containing a URL I must visit to verify the address. But no email ever arrives.

Can anybody suggest what the problem might be please?

My "guess" is that your ISP (or SPAMCOP if you use it) has somehow gotten the Oxford address on it's list of spam senders, and is blocking e-mail from there.

I have this same problem. So, I went to my ISP and took off any spam filters it had on my account that I could access, and still I do not get an email from CPDN to verify my new address. Any other ideas? Is there anyway to verify that CPDN actually sent an email? All other Boinc projects sent their emails and were received within a minute.

CPDN is suffering severe server (try that without typing errors!), problems at present, at both Oxford and Open Universities.

It may be related. And someone left the door open, and our only computer person has escaped, so it may well be next week before things start recovering. Still, he is in real need of a break.

OK, thanks. I'll wait a few weeks and then see about trying again. I'll check back here periodically to see if that escapee has something to say. I hope he has a good time wherever he's gone!! :)
