The only way I can find to log out is to go to \'Your account\'. This seems silly -- why not put a logout entry in the nav column and make things easy.

Why would I want to stay logged in if I am no longer at the website?

It\'s common practice to log in when arriving at a site and log out when leaving. If climate prediction is set up differently, the details should be explained, including the reasons.

You\'re right about normally logging out, but I\'ve NEVER logged out of this site.
The only reason I can think of is, it\'s never occured to me to do so.
As for putting a logout facility in the nav menu, it\'s possible that most people who login/out each visit, do so to look at their account page, to check on the trickles, etc, rather than to use the help boards.

So it\'s not like it\'s difficult to add a logout item to the nav menu -- what would it take, 2 minutes?
