I think Autoproxy support should be available where the proxy is configured via script.
Your Windows LAN account should also be validated automatically through the proxy without having to remember to enter the password in BOINC every time you change your password on the LAN.

On top of that I also found out from the BOINC message boards that your passwords are stored in text format in the XML files.
