I had a similar problem and it was because I was running BOINC 4.19 and had to upgrade. That fixed it but don\'t know if this is the same problem you have.

Under the

boinc\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\\'experimentname\' or
boinc\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\\'experimentname\'\\dataout directory

for the failed work unit/experiment name there should be a file yabsd.out or yabsd.out.gz

If so, open it with wordpad and copy the last 20 lines or so of the yabsd.out file and paste them here. That may tell more about the error...maybe.

The NEGATIVE PRESSURE problem is well known from way back. And the error code, if it was there, would have been -5.
Possibly caused by computer instability; overclocking was one known cause.

Yes, it looks like model instability (the old -5 error before BOINC started throwing in the red herring 161 errors), possibly due to errors in CPU or RAM.

What antivirus solution are you using? Certain antivirus solutions have been known to conflict with BOINC/cpdn and produce these type of errors.

If it might be a hardware issue, you could check out these threads in the phpBB forum for tips:

That\'s way out of line with what Everest reports for Aux on my boxes.

Your CPU temp? (Low Processor Fan Speed suggests it\'s okay, however...)
