I\'m sorry to say that you have been hit by the dreaded 1073741819 error. There have been a few people affected by this on the BBC site as well. It is a Windows error code and may well have a variety of causes, but one thing to try is to update your graphics drivers as it often appears to be graphics related.

If you aren\'t sure how to go about it let us know what graphics card you have.

I don\'t promise it will help, but it is worth a try. You may find that the next work unit runs properly. If not, as your problem seems to occur immediately after downloading, there is an option of suspending the network connection in BOINC Manager and booting into safe mode with network, then launching BOINC and telling it to connect to the network. Some people have found that works. Once the climate application is installed properly, you can then reboot into normal mode and hope that all is well. I\'m sorry if that sounds complicated, but it isn\'t really.

Bear in mind that you are limited in the number of workunits you can have a day. But you can wait until the next day, or try reattaching to the project.
