The system doesn\'t seem to do any useful work. I notice that others have had similar problems and there doesn\'t seem to be a solution - should I withdraw from the project?

Have you tried the standard fixes for this, which do work for some people (Upgrade graphics drivers, Windows update using custom/optional updates)?

For those getting this on download, booting into safe mode for the download and until the first save point seems to work.

But there is no guaranteed cure.
