I installed client for BBC climate project yesterday. Since then, it tried to send results back several times, but it always failed.

It reports something like:
Unrecoverable error for result hadcm3l_0dyt_00018554_0 (file_xfer_error .... error_code -161 ...)

My computer is pretty much standard, no special software running. It\'s always connected to net, no aggressive firewall nothing.
Any idea how to fix it?

The interesting information should be just above the first \'161\' error (basically 161 just says that there are no model files to upload, which is because the model failed with a different error)

There was no prior error. It simply always stopped computing at some 0.04% and tried to send result.
I also remember that there was some fortran popup with error before which occured when I was playing computer game. I didnt know that it is boinc error, so I ignored it.
I tried to restart project and now it seems to work (0.21% without error or attempt to send results)

The fortran error would indeed be the culprit (the model is compiled with an Intel Fortran compiler).

It may have been a conflict with the game, it\'s probably best to suspend the project (also select \'no more work\') just before starting a gaming session. Games usually take 100% of the CPU hence you won\'t be losing any more processing on the model by suspending it.

Unfortunatelly, same thing happend again and this time without fortran runtime error. Model was at some 0.50% and then it said \"task finished\" and attemped to upload results - with no luck, again error -161.
Thx for your help, I guess that my PC is simply not compatible enough, I\'m detaching from the project..
