this morning i was greeted by the following messages

no results were uploaded and no new work was downloaded. can the result file be uploaded manualy or are 2 months of processing lost.

Sorry about your loss. The only way to recover from this is from a backup made from before the crash.
These boards have a lot of messages fom experienced users telling people that regular backups are important.

Since you\'re using BOINC 5.2.13, all the important end-of-phase files will have already been returned to the server, shortly after they were created.
The phase 1 data was/is especially valuable, as it has info needed for the TC models.

I\'m not sure why you haven\'t received a new model, but there will be message lines in the Messagess tab if there is a problem. Otherwise, in the Projects tab, click on climateprediction.net, and then click Update.

thanks for the quick reply
i have tried updatimg with no luck. i didnt want to reset the project before i was sure the files couldnt be recovered. be sure ill backup from now on.
