time to complete the first work of my pc is estimated from boinc in 2173 hours.

I\'ve an Athlon64 3000+ (socket 754) CPU with 512 Mb of RAM, is\'nt a too long time?

What\'s the problem?

Hi, Enrico, welcome to the Boards.

BOINC\'s estimates for CPDN are notoriously off the mark -- usually over-stated. However, with these Coupled Models, it might be underestimated. It could take longer than 2200 hours on your machine.

Best thing to do is use you actual run time and % completed to compute a more-accurate estimate.
