I am running v5.08, and I saw the message above about five times. The following message is \"If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project.\" So I did, but this log message keeps logged every day, and the job restarts. What is wrong?

The machine is an Athlon XP 2000MHz on a ASUS 7AV333 board, 1G memory, nothing overclocked of stressed, the machine seems to hold thermal load well (burnp6), MS memory test runs fine for a day. No other work is going on this machine, it is dedicated for the task, no anti-virus is installed, disks never turned off. The only power saving feature is monitor is off in 10 minutes.

The message seems to be getting triggered by Windows updating it\'s internal time clock from an internet time clock, at intervals of around 3-4 hours.
It doesn\'t happen to everyone, and is harmless.

The worst that can happen if you do nothing, is that the model will crash. Then you\'ll get a new model.
If you do as it says and reset, your model will be aborted, and you\'ll get a new model, plus a reload of the program and files.

You may find it helps if you change *which* server Windows is querying for the time (find your way to adjust date/time, go to the final tab (\'internet time\'), and then you can select the server from a combo box list.

Alternatively, you can change the frequency at which Windows queries the server (mine is set to once-per-week). This can be done via the registry, or using something called TweakUI.

Thanks, I disabled the Internet time synchronizer, and this problem went away. You are right, not every Windows installation has the third tab \"Internet time\" in the \"Date and Time Properties\" applet. However, this is not encouraging if this kind of seemingly innocent piece of web software causes such a severe interference with the CPDN application.

I would suggest for the project managers to put forth a list of what kind of Windows services needs to be started, and which should be disabled to avoid interference and improve productivity.
