Greetings,

I\'d like to get some advice from you wiser people on the issue stated in the t opic. I\'m repeatedly getting the following error message, shortly after climateprediction.net has finished downloading a new workunit and started computing it:

\"Unrecoverable error for result hadcm3lbm_xxxxxxxx (The system cannot find the file specified (0x2) - Exit code 2 (0x2))\"

Any advice? I also have SETI@Home running on the same BOINC client and it runs without problems.

Thanks in advance.

Try resetting the project. The client probably thinks it has a file that it does not have. If that is the case it should clear it up.

You\'re using BOINC version 4.19 and the new models require a 5.* version.

And you MUST use Windows uninstall to remove the old version before installing the new version.

Thank you Les. That indeed appeared to be the problem. I updated the BOINC client sometime after having posted the question but was deferred for some 15 hrs so I couldn\'t yet see if that was indeed the problem as it turned out to be. Now it runs fine, thanks!
