I\'m running seti and climateprediction on version 5.4.11 of BOINC, and the supposed CTRL+(key) options just flat don\'t work - as soon as I touch the CTRL key, the screensaver exits. I\'ve hunted around the boards some to see if this has been covered yet, and while it has to a certain extent, I couldn\'t find anything useful for me:

a) I\'ve seen noted a couple of places that this was a bug with version 5.4.9, but not whether it had been supposedly fixed for later versions;
b) I\'ve seen recommendations to set the graphics the way I\'d like them using the \"show graphics\" feature in the BOINC manager, and that this would then possibly carry over into the screensaver itself, but this doesn\'t happen (and doesn\'t fix the root problem anyway, as I\'d like those keys to work the way they are meant to during screensaver operation);
c) I\'ve seen recommendations to not use the screensaver at all, as it uses a certain amount of the CPU\'s resources - but hey, you set up your computer the way you want, and I\'ll set up mine the way *I* want, and I want the screensaver. ^_^

Anyone got more to say on this subject than I\'ve already heard? I\'m gettting tired of staring at a plain black and white earth with no starfield and no temp/pressure/clouds/etc whenever CPDN has control of BOINC.

There was a problem with passing the ctrl key through the client. It has been disabled and will likely stay that way.

Hurray! Well, not hurray that it doesn\'t work. But hurray for a simple and easy answer. Thank you.
