At the beginning of the month I had to reinstall Windows on my computer. I was happy that I was able to get my ClimatePrediction.net BOINC project running again afterwards.
Now I discovered that I still have some \"old\" directories under my climateprediction.net folder which are obviously not used anymore -- they still have timestamps of September 7 and 8, while my active work units show the current date.
What should I do with these zombie work units? I\'m afraid their server state is still running. How can I determine that?
Can I cancel these work units regularly? The problem is that I don\'t see them in BOINC Manager. And my computer doesn\'t have the capacity to compute on these work units in addition to the current ones.

Older versions of the science application left detailed results on the host in case they were needed for more detailed analasys. You can delete any directory that does not have a matching task in the BOINC manager.

But these are in fact only very small relicts of work units that run only for one or several days on my computer (I mentioned that I had problems leading to OS reinstallation). Shouldn\'t they be done by someone else?
You see, my results page shows lots of work units with server state \"In progress\", outcome \"Unknown\" and client state \"New\". I\'d like to clean them up because only two of them are really running in my BOINC manager.

You can delete all those not currently running.
