Hello,

On November 27th (yesterday), I received an error message in which BOINC couldn\'t connect to www.climateprediction.net. BOINC displayed a solution message which suggested that I detach from the project and attach as \"climateprediction.net.\" I copied the work from the project folder, and detached the project in BOINC. I attached to the new URL and exited BOINC. I copied all the project files into the new climateprediction folder; when I started BOINC, the task didn\'t show up.

I have all the backed up files for the project, but I cannot get BOINC to work on the task. Is there a way I can bring the task back?

Thank you!

Felix.

Haven\'t seen this one in a while. Later boinc versions don\'t like the CPDN Project name with \"www\".

If you restore your backup to recover your work, you can then run a \"fix\" developed by Thyme Lawn to rename the applicable files and all will be well. (I\'ve used it on a few machines with success.)

Thyme Lawn\'s fix for incorrect Project names: not attached to \'bbc.cpdn.org\' or \'climateprediction.net\':
