Is the Model highlighted?

Does the Model\'s Status indicate \"Running\"?

I am having the same issue. It ran fine this morning but after I come back to the computer a couple of hours later the button is greyed out and even trying to activate it through the screensaver doesn\'t work (I just get a BOINC symbol and the percentage done). The model is highlighted in the Tasks tab and it is running.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm, I think I wrote in too fast. I just exited BOINC manager and opened it again from Start --> Programs and that did the trick - wonder what happened though?

Hi, Inki, welcome to CPDN and the Boards.

As your machine is a laptop, I\'m wondering whether the battery-operation parameter could be involved; to run or not to run while on batteries? (I\'m grasping at straws as I have no direct experience with CPDN on laptops.)

Please keep the machine elevated for better airflow because heat is often a problem with laptops running this Model. More than a few run it but CPDN isn\'t recommended for laptops -- marginal cooling, small hard disks, and thousands of hours of runtime to complete a Model being the main issues.

Best of luck with it -- and Happy 2007.
