Why does sometimes (recently it\'s been happening very often) my task just disapper from the list and Bionic is in idle? When I reboot my computer and open Bionic again it starts from where it ended as if nothing had happend.

A bug was found in the core client that may be causing this. It should be fixed in the next release client.

I\'ve got a similar question: Climatecontrol recently made areport, then disappeared from my poject list. The file was nowhere near to being complete, yet it is gone. Boincreports that it is using a goodly chunk of my hard disk, yet it will not run at all in the program.

Rick

Your models keep crashing with an error 1.
This may be due to a display problem, (running something graphics intensive), but is more likely due to the program not being Exited from before shutting done Windows.
Windows only waits a short amount of time before killing all of the running processes, and if there are a lot of them, BOINC may not get enough time to shut down all of it\'s files.

It\'s recommeanded that BOINC be shut down via the Exit command in it\'s menu, waiting until it disappears, and THEN shutting done Windows.

The large amount of disk space will be because of the remnants of the failed models. This is only removed automatically if the program is allowed to continue to the point where it does it\'s cleanup. You\'ll have to delete the folders for the failed models manually.
