I needed to suspend the models for a while, but when I was back to re-start them, the program apparently downloaded two new models that are still working - but the original two are status \"preempted\". Should I just abort them? And whom do I tell? Thanks. |

Hi, There are several ways of suspending tasks, the best way is to use the \'suspend\' in the Activity menu which suspends everything. You can also suspend a whole project, or just a single work-unit. If you suspend a single work unit then Boinc will download a new one, as you\'ve discovered... Abort the tasks that have done least work. I\'d also recommend clicking \'no more work\' against the project - this stops Boinc downloading anything for any reason until you tell it otherwise by clicking again. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

As Mike said, Abort them. Click on one that\'s not wanted, then click the Abort button. Repeat for the second unwanted model. |
