Dear all, I am trying to add another computer to my project. I downloaded the boinc software, installed it to my new linux box. Both computers belong to my home network, with the same external IP address. When I issue the ./boinc -add_project http://climateprediction.net key (I presume this is my user number) it returns \"invalid or missing account key. Visit this project\'s web site to get an account key.\" Where can I find my account key, if it is something different than my user no? Thanks |

I stopped using the C/L option in boinc long ago. It\'s easy to Attach the machine to CPDN in the GUI -- do it as an existing user. In any event, key is not your user number -- it is the long alphanumeric string given to you when you joined CPDN. It\'s easer to use your Account password. Otherwise, log off this Board then try to get in again. You\'ll get an option to receive an email with your key.
