- Stop the Model, then stop boinc. - Zip the entire boinc folder and copy to CD-RW or DVD-RW (or ship it over your LAN, if you have one) - Load the Folder to same location* on your reformatted drive and unzip. - Re-install boinc into that Folder (to set Windows Registry entries; it won\'t harm your CPDN files) - Make a desktop icon, if one isn\'t already there, and restart. * I place my boincCPDN installations in a small dedicated partition (12 to 15 Gig allows plenty of space for growth, backups, et al [Edit: it doesn\'t have to be that large]); it allows for quick defragging every time the Folder is backed-up. Note that you can copy the Folder without Zipping it first. If you do that, be sure to reset the permissions for the restored Folder to be Read/Write. If any of this is unclear, please ask again. Best of luck with it. Note2: It\'s okay to change from one Windows version to another, but your current CPDN Run won\'t work if you are changing from Windows to Linux.
