Climate prediction has been running fine until this morning after 801 CPU hours, I get a \'computation error\' and progress is set at 100%. I also got a \'buffer over-run\' error. Any ideas what went wrong?

Longest set of scan diagnostics I\'ve seen yet but, unless I overlooked the culprit, I still can\'t explain the error. Perhaps someone else can explain this:
scan: yafbg.astart.gz
CPDN Monitor - Quit request from BOINC...
CPDN NetCDF Err #2 - No such file or directory
CPDN NetCDF Err #2 - No such file or directory
CPDN NetCDF Err #2 - No such file or directory
CPDN NetCDF Err #2 - No such file or directory
MainError: 04:04:56 AM No files match the supplied pattern.
MainError: 04:04:56 AM No files match the supplied pattern.

Possible Hard Disc error but that\'s only a guess.
Is the machine overclocked?
Do you have a recent backup to give it another go?

The length of the scan list suggests the Run had a lot of issues.

I think the NetCDF errors are when the extraction-and-compression process fails when creating a 10-year or 40-year upload, but AFAIK it\'s nonfatal to the model as a whole. No idea why the error log was so huge, or what actually caused it to crash...

Have a look at the README postings (link at the bottom of astroWX\'s signature), some generic suggestions are there (what software causes problems, how to take backups, etc).
