I have been running the climate prediction for a while and now it does not startup and the screensaver is just boinc bouncing around. I checked my files and it appears everything is still there but I can\'t get it started and the manager shows nothing. I really want to complete the project that was started could you give some suggestions? |

To start with, you need to look in the Tasks tab. This is where you can see 1) If there is a model available to process 2) How far it\'s progressed: in percent, in \'real\' hours, and, by using at the Show graphics display, how many \'model years\' as been processed 3) Get the name of the model so that you can look at it\'s results on the project\'s server. So: IS there a model there? Is it\'s Status Running? Subsequent to this, there are messages in the Messages tab that will give a clue to any problems. These are archived in the file: stdoutdae.txt, which is in the BOINC folder. Ask again if you need more advice. Backups: Here |

There is nothing in any tabs. I can only access the manager by pulling it from my program list. It does not load itself. I want to pick up where I left off but I\'m not sure if I reattach myself if I would lose all work previously done. climate prediction is still in my boinc/projects file. |
