What does it mean, and how do I fix it? Has it ever been on a CR-R disk? (if so, then file permissions need to be fixed). Is there a firewall or suchlike which is preventing Boinc from starting tasks? old_user59715 Send message Joined: 2 Mar 05 Posts: 2 Credit: 451,270 RAC: 0	Message 29858 - Posted: 6 Aug 2007, 3:30:12 UTC It was installed by the same account running it. * First I tried to reset the project (even though it had no work to do). * Then tried un-installing and re-installing * Then figured I\'d admit defeat and ask someone smarter than me. ;-) I do run zone alarm, but I haven\'t touched it in ages, and it seemed to work in the past. It\'s allowed to access the internet, and prompt for anything else, but I get no prompts.
