Team Scotland has now passed 27,000,000 credits in CPDN alone and is still 27th in total credits on the CPDN top team list! ;-) We've held this position for a while now, despite some fairly wild fluctuations in the team RAC. Well done everyone! ;-)

Congrats to Rory and Egon, who have each managed to deliver another 160-year model, despite recent problems with the upload servers!

Wow, and another from Gilbert yesterday, then two more since! Just thought I'd "pinch" Iansm's post about it from the "Oxford Boards":

"IanSM" wrote:
Summary of current run of FIVE 160-year models this week... 8)

14/6 - Egon's 4th model.
16/6 - Gilbert's 3rd model.
NEW
18/6 - Egon's 5th model.
18/6 - Hagar's 8th model.

Well done all! Always a great achievement to see a long model successfully complete. :D

Details of all recent completed models in this page of the team's statistics.

Well done all, including Iansm for keeping track! ;-)

And also well done to rrodway, who has now become the 7th member of team Scotland to complete 100 (or more!) climate models, counting all the different types. Sadly, we don't see anything of Richard in the forums nowadays, but it's great that he's still making such a huge contribution to the team stats and climate science!

Another four long HadCM3 models have been completed since the above batch in June.

A pair from myself on 26th June then two from Hagar on 2nd and 12th July.

Scotland have now passed a total 150 long models - currently at 152.

Despite the popularity of the quick HadAM3P models, a few team members are still
(patiently!) crunching 160-year models - currently 15 from 74 active models of all types.

Another long model was completed on 18th July by Rory (his 7th). Well done!

Team now have completed 153 long CPDN models.

Have also noticed (here) that Scotland have finished over 2000 climate models from the 3 projects (CPDN, SAP and BBC).

All good stuff, Ian, thanks. I also see that you and talister have each now completed 300 climate models, of various types/lengths - well done both! Team model count is here

Rory (who is a dedicated and patient 160-year model specialist!) completed his 8th one yesterday (29/7). No. 154 for the team.

Team stats will not be refreshed until current work installing new servers and updating credits has been completed.
See this announcement. Therefore Rory's latest model will appear later in our model counting stats.

Cheers, Ian

The only thing on BOINCstats is IanSM\'s quick to-and-fro, which I seem to remember was a test of some sort.

The project exports have been hard to get of late, so the BOINCstats page is out of date. The problem seems to be sorted out now, so all should become clear shortly. (Plus I\'m finding this board more responsive as well.)

Hi Iain ;-) long time no see, hope all well with you and yours? I just noticed that the number of team members had gone up from 81 to 82 since the last time I looked, but I haven\'t been able to spot a new name. Iansm will probably be able to enlighten us though.

Best regards, Margaret

Many thanks to Hagar, who pointed out (in the \"Oxford boards\") that our new member is Tonks, who joined the team on 31st August. Welcome, Tonks, thanks for joining, happy crunching and we hope to \"meet\" you soon in one of the forums. ;-)

Many congrats to Iansm, who has just completed another 2 160-year models, his 16th and 17th such!

And to Edward Wright, who recently completed his 50th climate model, counting all the different types.

Well done, both!

You\'re entirely welcome, Edward ;-) and congrats also on becoming a BOINC millionaire recently, I don\'t believe I mentioned that at the time! ;-)

No results yet from Tonks who has a powerful AMD running Win 7 x64 (which may be the reason?) as we can see here.
Quite a few other recent joiners also cannot seem to get going. Wish they would come here or another forum for help.
Sent a PM to Tonks on the off-chance that he/she may respond. PM alerts may not be set, of course. Oh, well.

On a positive note, Rory recently completed his 9th 160 year model. So, congratulations to Rory!

I seem to have missed welcoming a new member, Peter, who joined the project in September (not sure when he joined the team) and has recently sent his first trickle. Sorry for late welcome, Peter, thanks for joining, happy crunching and do come and say hello to us here or elsewhere! ;-)
