Hi If I want to copy a part finished model from Windows XP PC \'A\' running 5.8.16 to Windows XP PC \'B\' running 5.10.13 can you tell me which directory(ies) I should copy from the c:\\program files\\boinc in one machine to the other? I only want to copy the data and not the program code. This is to avoid what I have done in the past i.e. just copied the whole subdirectory from \'A\' to \'B\'. The problem with doing this is that PC \'B\' windows registry thinks it has 5.10.13 installed but this is actually then totally overwritten in the program sub-directory by 5.8.16 code and it can get a bit messy. Thanks |

Not able to be done. The way it should be done. Copy whole directory from one to the other. Then install over new copy and then let it run. |

Oh well thats short & sweet. Also, after 2 weeks I started running my models again including hadsm3fub_0312_005898026_2 using hadsm3 version 506. The talk numbers displayed in my 5.10.13 localhost windows show: CPU Time is 116:26 Progress is 0.895% To Completion 477:18 Progress is completely wrong...! Everything seems to be ticking along but that progress figure is \'out of kilter\' This is not a show stopper. Any Ideas? |

The most recent trickle I can see for that model is dated 20th August... is that what you expect, or does it sound wrong? How many hours has it been running since you restarted it? http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=6733565 I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. Yes that is what I expect, we have been away for two weeks. When I wrote that post yesterday I had restarted one hour previously. FYI hadcm3inct_cnd9_1920_160_65870489_3 using hadcm3i version 542 is running simultaneously on the same machine and the figures are as I would expect. Today hadsm3fub_0312_005898026_2 using hadsm3 version 506 is showing CPU Time 130:46 Progress 5.4% To Completion 453:28 Curious eh? Anyway a model uploaded a ZIP this morning... Cheers |
