I\'m running thelatest version of BOINC.
I had two applications loop on me. I\'ve tried suspending and shutting down BOINC and restarting and it\'s still the same.
I aborted the first application and the second application still loops and won\'t download a new application.
Should I abort the second application?
How do I get BOINC to give up and download a new application?
Thanks for any help.
Mal.

Mal,

I assume the first model was this one, which has only the user abort error message. If you look in the \'stdoutdae.txt\' file in the BOINC folder you might get a better idea of what was causing the problem.

The second model is a slab model and they do seem to loop more commonly. If it\'s looped more than a couple of times, then aborting it is the only option.

You should then get another model, unless the \'No new tasks\' button has been pressed in BOINC Manager (in which case the button will be showing \'Allow new tasks\').
