Hi all,

I had an host, in my pas job, and i can\'t acces for it to a long time.
BOINC is still running (for climateprediction) but only return client error.

I see two problem :
- this host download a lot of units (380...) that it don\'t use.
- it change my cross id project every two days...

In my panel control, i can desactiv this host. Is that possible in an other way ?

Thanks a lot.

You need access to it get rid of it. (Either physical, or via a network.)

I\'ll talk to some people and see if it can be blocked. But this won\'t stop BOINC from running on it.

I have no idea what will happen, but if you change the password and email address on your account, and them make sure that your own hosts can attach OK, will that cause the remote host to not be able to connect?

I\'m not sure whether it\'ll work or not (never tried it myself)

Yeah, changing even your username won\'t break a project that\'s connected. I do it all the time because BoincView has a problem with spaces in names for projects that require the name to connect. Every time I add a machine to WCG via BoincView I have to first change my user name at the project to remove spaces, then attach, then change user name again to add spaces. Doesn\'t bug the client at all when that info changes.
