The following has been published on the APS@home site:

October 4, 2007 Request for ALL users to abort ALL work
EDITED: I have deleted all currently outstanding work units. I apologise for this, but it was necessary in order to debug the server and release new work.


We\'ve had to cancel all the work units currently running. These have a deadline in 2009, and for some reason are causing problems with the assimilator daemon. It would be a VERY good idea to abort any APS work you currently have running. I can\'t diagnose the problem while these rogue WUs are still out there.

Thanks for your co-operation, and apologies for the inconvenience (and small amount of lost credit). Please spread the word among your teams.



I guess a number of CPDN crunchers will also be hitting APS
