My latest completed task shows this for validate state:
Workunit error - check skipped

What does that mean, and why do everyone\'s results say this? Note that I am not the only person with a status of \"Success\". Here is the WU in question: 6129411

The wording is designed for BOINC projects where validation (comparison of returned results to weed out malfunctioning computers) is used. On those projects, replacement tasks are sent out automatically by BOINC in the event of a computer error - and limits are set to prevent things running away if something goes wrong.

Here at CPDN, the number of tasks to be sent out is determined in advance by the scientists, \'validation\' in the specific BOINC sense is irrelevant, and the limits are ignored. But there are figures in the associated BOINC configuration files, and the messages are displayed to confuse the public (!).

In this case, the clue is above the list of tasks:
initial replication 5
max # of error/total/success tasks 3, 4, 1
errors Too many total results

- in other words, the scientists sent out more results than they told BOINC they expected to receive back.

Harmless, but illogical and confusing, I agree.

OK, just wanted to make sure my result was good, as it appeared to finish OK.

The reason I ask is because the Temperature and Precipitation graphs are blank for the returned task. The Surface Pressure graph is OK though. I wonder why those two graphs are missing?

My last \"slab\" is the same. I think it\'s just something not running on the server after the upgrade.

See whether they are there tomorrow. I think you still also need the credit for the last trickle.

Oops, it\'s too early in the morning.
It\'s my last completed HADAM3 that doesn\'t have the graphs.

Nope, the graphs are still blank. Here is a direct link to the task:
