Getting process creation failed errors; need help to correct.

Connects to BOINC and climateprediction.net ok. Downloads work but above error creates bad output and upload fails. All this happens in just a couple of minutes.

Have you rebooted your system since you installed BOINC?

The \"Running as daemon\" line in the output indicates that you installed BOINC v6 in protected (service) mode. That creates a couple of groups which are required to run applications, but Windows doesn\'t make the groups available for use until the system has been rebooted.

It might also be a good idea to upgrade to the latest version of BOINC (6.2.19). It includes some shared memory fixes (which could also be your problem) and improved idle detection.

I installed this version i think in July or August, it has been working fine. Not sure when it started having problems. I\'ve rebooted several times since then and once before this post.

I\'ll take your suggestion and upgrade to the current version and see if it corrects the error.

As I mentioned, there were some shared memory fixes between versions 6.2.14 and 6.2.19 (shared memory handle leaks in some error conditions, failure to delete shared memory segments in other conditions, problems setting up access rights to the shared memory).

If you want to look any further there might be further information about what was causing the problem in the file C:\\Documents and Settings\\All Users\\Application Data\\BOINC\\stderrdae.txt (if you do find anything there I\'d be interested in seeing the messages you got for future reference).

Well it turns out the next day, after a system reboot, the 0x522 error returned. Since the above thread describes the same issue I posted additional information there. The indication is that something is wrong with the boinc_master account. I\'d like to know what this account should look like so I can determine if something is changing. If you have information on this account please post it here (and to the above thread).
