That\'s unfortunate, Jeremy, but there are few members who don\'t lose a model or several while we learn what we should and shouldn\'t do (which isn\'t at all obvious in many cases).
Just check that your current BOINC Data folder only contains 2 subfolders (which in your XP should I think be coloured yellow) called Projects and Slots. There shouldn\'t be a third subfolder there called Locale; this one should be in the BOINC folder. If these 3 subfolders are where they should be, all the other files are probably also in their proper places. I\'m asking you to carry out this quick check in case you didn\'t let the BOINC installer do all the data migration when you upgraded.
If I were you I\'d now choose a backup method from the CPDN README collection, linked via my signature. Les\'s manual method works excellently, but there are also more sophisticated methods. With regular backups we can restore crashed models and finish them in most cases.
Except that we\'ll have to wait for Milo to get the independent forum, which is down because he\'s been working on it, sorted out before you can use the link.
