I have 2 completed work units, where results seem to have been returned, but trickles are incomplete and are only shown up to 13th April.
The currently running work units are about 50% completed, yet no trickles are shown.
Other computers have trickles shown up to 19th April (today).
Are my 4 results/units of any use to the project, or should I ditch them and start again?

Hi Keith

If you find the forum News thread at the top of this Number Crunching section you'll see that there have been major problems since the climateapps2 upload server broke down on Easter Sunday. Milo has rigged up a temporary replacement which is having a hard time catching up with the backlog plus doing all the extra things apart from uploads that climateapps2 did. My backlog of trickles finally showed up on 5 out of 6 models' web pages today, but not yet for the sixth model.

So please don't abort your models. Your trickles will show up, you'll eventually get all your credits and all models will be used by the researchers.

Milo's ordered a new server, so when it's delivered there will probably be another outage while he installs it and gets it running. I expect we'll be able to announce this in advance, so it's a good idea to subscribe to the forum News thread.

Thanks for putting my mind at rest there.
I had realised there was a server problem
But I just did not see why I had been ignored while others were up to date.
And I had thought all crunchers would have been catching up at the same rtate chronologically.
So concluded something nasty must have happened on my patch.

Glad to hear my efforts over the 4 units affected will not be wasted.

Will subscribe as suggested.

Well done to everyone at CPDN for getting back on track!
I've just checked the two models currently running on my PCs -
the trickles are now up-to-date.

The climateapps2 server was like a delinquent teenager misbehaving randomly but also particularly at weekends and during its parents' holidays. Milo was probably very pleased to say goodbye to his least favourite server.
