At least three times now, my projects have reached about 33% completion and then seem to start over. For example, this morning, the projects were over 30% complete. Nine hours later, they are 3% or less complete.

What is going on? I wasting electricity if the jobs can\'t finish. I\'m running BOINC 6.4.5 on Vista SP2.

33% is the end of phase one.
As has been posted before, DON\'T interrupt the model at this time, or it will do just as you\'re observing.
There is a LOT of post processing at the end of each phase, which can take 15-30 minutes, depending on the speed of the computer, etc. You need to wait until it has created it\'s first trickle in the next phase before interrupting it.

My antivirus is AVG Free 8.5.

If AVG 8.5 Free has the capability of excluding folders from \"on demand\" scanning, I would suggest excluding the BOINC data folder.

I\'ve sent a PM to spaghc, the person having the smallexecs error problem in the other thread. He seems to have solved his problem somehow. However, since e-mail notification of PMs is turned off by default, there\'s no guarantee he\'ll see that he has a PM so I am not optimistic.
