I want to run weatherathome and specify the 'Europe' model. I get directed to a page that enables me to set up an account and choose the model. But I already have a BOINC account, and don't want to create another - what is the best way forward? |

Simply select the 'Europe' model in the 'climateprediction.net' section of your project preferences here. The older regional application versions for non-Windows platforms have been withdrawn, so you'll get exactly the same models as if signing up through the 'weather at home' registration process. |

I've added a note to the registration page which hopefully makes this clearer. |

Thanks for the quick answers - I'll go and set it running now. |

I noticed that you don't list windows 8 or 8.1.x in your accepted platforms. I am running win 8.1.update x Is this why i am not getting any tasks from climate prediction? |

Windows 8.* isn't on the list because it's new(ish). The reason that you're not getting any work is because there isn't any. This <small batch of work> <long wait between batches while the researchers wait for results>, is normal on cpdn. There's a Server Status page link in the blue menu to the left, 5 from the bottom. It shows if there's work or not. |
