It looks as if you mean this computer with these tasks.

The current CPDN server that holds the database also sends us our new models. The database is enormous and has to keep updating our uploads and credits. The server can't always cope with the amount of work; sometimes it seems unable to access its own database. In addition it can't always provide the number of connections necessary for all the computers that need to connect to it. Our account web pages and this forum then become unavailable. CPDN needs a new server. This is planned but can't be done immediately.

As a result of this server having such a hard time sometimes files being downloaded time out and fail. The model they belong to then fails. This has happened to you. There's nothing wrong with your internet connection; a couple of FAMOUS models downloaded successfully at the same time.

Keep an eye on the forum News thread at the top of this Number Crunching section as that's where we try to tell members about this sort of problem.
