Not altogether sure if this is the appropriate place to post this but I've noticed in the past week or so (while the CPDN servers were down, but I don't see how that can be connected?) that there appears to be a problem with individual signature graphics. I've noticed this in several places but, just as an example, in this thread of the Scottish forum, Ian (scottishwebcamslive) and Willie (Megacruncher) seem to have acquired other people's graphics? But the team graphic, in my own signature, is fine?????????????

I've now had a look in BOINC stats, and it seems that they have (arbitrarily? without telling the people concerned?) changed at least some people's user numbers. So the correct graphic for Ian is now



He's become user 306 instead of user 620725 as previously.

(I don't use my own BOINC signature graphic any more, since it has "lost" my BBC credits!)

IMPORTANT: Combined User Accounts have changed unique ID's

Due to the problems with the database this week all combined user stats have been renumbered. This is the unique ID used at BOINCstats to identify a combined user stat. Not to be confused with the CPID or the BAM! id!!

As a result, the link for the default signature has changed as well. Please look on your detailed stats page for the new link.

Customized BAM! signatures are not affected, team, country and host stats or stats for the projects are also not affected.

Many thanks, Richard, I wasn't paying attention to the announcements - and I obviously wasn't the only one, will notify those of my team-mates who use the BOINC signature that they need to update the link!
