Quite a few of my in progress and completed hadam3p's are showing up as "Didn't need". Ex: 1109877 Seems to be the case with other users' hosts as well. Should we be concerned? |

Jonathan has posted an explanation here. The status text has been changed to "No Resubmission" to avoid any confusion and prevent users from thinking they ought to abort tasks which are definitely still required. |

I have just had a task come back with the No Resubmission message when I look @ the task. However I also got the following message. Sat 30 Apr 2011 09:42:12 BST climateprediction.net Computation for task hadam3p_eu_wcsa_1969_1_006821522_1 finished Sat 30 Apr 2011 09:42:12 BST climateprediction.net Output file hadam3p_eu_wcsa_1969_1_006821522_1_4.zip for task hadam3p_eu_wcsa_1969_1_006821522_1 absent I am trying to work out whether this is a problem with my computer causing a computation error or a model problem and don't know enough to do this. Previous models of this type have completed ok. This came when the model was if I remember correctly less than 20% complete. Dave |

Hi, Dave, I doubt it's your machine. My record was checked, no active 'eu' tasks but 'Suspended' or 'Waiting to run' PNW task records look the same as yours. (None of my Regional tasks are currently running and haven't been for days.) It must be an artifact of recent server changes; I trust it'll all be straightened out in due course. The thing bugging me is "View this result on results.cpdn.org" at the bottom of our task pages. It's not present for tasks marked "completed" ... Perhaps it's a symptom.
