I've had a hadam3p_eu task running for 138 hrs which hasn't sent any trickles. (Progress is static at 0.001%)
Is this normal?

Looks like someone else had trouble with this model too, so I would just abort it.

Certainly not normal, You should be getting around 5% for 24 hours as a ball park figure.

David

There's a newish sticky near the top of the Macintosh section of this board which may apply. It's labelled Tasks crash after upgrading to BOINC 6.12.26, and is Here.

I'm running BOINC version 6.10.58 - would this be a problem?

I see you have two Macs, David. But if neither has Boinc 6.12.26 you don't need to worry about the problem Les was referring to. 6.10.58 is what my computer has and I'm keeping it at least for a while because I still want to see my Boinc messages in a tab.

DJStarfox was probably thinking of your task from this workunit. If that's the task and it's still stuck without making progress, do follow DJ's advice and abort it. If you look at its graphics before aborting it you may find that it's stuck in a loop and is constantly repeating the same model day.

Thanks everyone. Yup, the task was in a loop, so have done as suggested and aborted.
