Anyone knows if it is possible to re-gain access to an old account with an e-mail address that doesn't exist anymore and without a password I can't remember? The files on the computer referring to this account are since long wiped off.

The only thing that in my opinion could reveal the identity of the user (me) is the fact that one of the computers in my current account is identical to the computers on my old account.

Any chances that there is a way to regain access to this old account?

It's not necessary for the old email to still exist. However it IS necessary to know what it was, and what your user name was. (And it may be necessary to know the old password, because asking for a new one requires having an active email address to send it to.

The other identity item that can be used is the authenticator key, a long string of characters which is near the top of the account file on your computer, which you say has been wiped.

And even if you do regain access to your old account, it CAN'T be merged with your current account.
