I realize that the people running the regional models are not in as big a hurry to get their results as those who created the hadcm3n models and that the regional models have longer deadlines, but, I was surprised to see that the deadline for WU hadam3p_saf_1g9v_1_1978_006948923_2 is 6/27/2022!

Now that�s patience. It�s going to be a while before any lost WU�s time out on the server.

The WU in question was originally created on 22 Nov 2010.
On the one WU that succeeded, it has be marked as No Resubmission.
The reason that it's now reappeared, is because of a very long timer in the BOINC server code. To fix this requires a server upgrade. (And it only seems to affect SAF models.)

That WU is Not needed. Please Abort it.

As for the researchers "not needing their work returned in a hurry", the long deadline is just to fool BOINC, and keep those crunchers who also run lots of short WUs from other projects happy.
ALL work is needed ASAP.
