I"ve been running Climateprediction and on other task for several years on my computer. The hard drive crashed recently and now that I am recovered, I would like to get back to work on my original projects and retain the work hours or efforts that would be credited to my original sign in. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the password. I can ask BOINC to send me an email that would enable me to gain access. However, and I've asked a number of times that this be done, no email from BOINC ever arrives in my email account. In order to even ask this question, I had to sign up as a new user and I can continue but I hate to waste all of the hours originally credited to me. Is there a way to get this enabling email sent to me? Help! And Thank you! Tudorbug |

I must be missig something because when I click on your username, it shows you as having been a CPDN member since 2009. http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_user.php?userid=598098 If you click on the Your account link sixth down from the top in left hand menu you will find your account key which should give you full access to your CPDN account. How things work with other projects, I don't know. |

I agree with Dave. It does seem that you've been using this account for five and a half years. As for "no email", have you changed email accounts since 2009? And are you asking for the models/tasks/work-units that you were part way through when the computer crashed, to be resent to you? Because if so, that's not going to happen. Your computer has had it's chance to run them, and now they'll be sent to a different computer somewhere. |
