Apart from a recent outage due to problems on the computer hosting the virtual machine that runs the BOINC server software stats are being regularly updated and exported at weekends. Andy has been working on a script which will get credit status updated on a daily basis but I don't know how far that has got. Also he was away for a few weeks recently and came back to the server problems which will doubtless have delayed it further.

On a purely selfish basis I would prefer his time to go on sorting out work for Linux machines so I don't have to run them using WINE. I don't know if weekly updates is OK for your team or not.

I know I shouldn’t ask, but, is there any chance the credit script will run this week?

I'm guessing there's no credit script this weekend? Any idea when that might happen? I sure hope everyone doesn't tell me that they got credit this weekend and I didn't.

The new scripts have been running daily, but nothing seems to be coming out of them.
The export files from them are also showing up at BOINCstats, again with no credits.

I've had an email in for several hours, and have just received a reply.

It will be discussed during the week, but there's a BOINC meeting in Oxford this week, so there may not be a lot of time to actually fix things.

Add this to the list of things to be patient about.
Ommmmmm ...

An update re what is happening with credits.

As regards the credit, I am working on them currently. The credit script if run, will produce a deficit of credits for everyone, so a correction factor will need to be applied. This is what I am working on. I know the steps that I will need to take to rectify it.

I don't know what these steps are or even if I could understand them all if told but it is good news that we might be close to getting this sorted.
