Hello all! I have a really old account from 2004 with an account ID that I can't login too. I try to use the email address to login in but says
No such account
No account with email address xxxxxxxxxxxxxx exists. Please go back and try again.
I try to resend the password and get a message that the email doesn't exist. Are old accounts removed or anything?
I've created a new account with an up to date email and it would be nice to have the accounts merged/ or update the email of the old account.

Yes, accounts that are inactive for over a certain length of time are now deleted to comply with GDPR data protection legislation.

Towards the end of 2017 when the GDPR was starting to come in, this project got in early, and all accounts that hadn't been active for 3 years were renamed to olduser plus a number.

The servers have recently been upgraded to the latest version of BOINC, which includes provision to allow people to delete their accounts themselves.

If you haven't been active here in recent years, then your old account no longer exists.

Hmmm ..... is it possible to delete the Team? Is there an Admin or something else?

Edit: I´ll try a "Takeover" for this Team. I will see after 60 Days what will happen.
