I recently installed the latest version of BOINK (ver. 4.09) on my Windows XP SP1 PC. I attached the client work climateprediction.net work units. My screen saver is set to BOINC. When the screen saver is activated, I can no longer connect to my laptop remotely using Windows Remote Connection. I get the Windows XP login screen, however, after entering my password the screen appears to update, but I can see nothing. The desktop does not appear and the remote connection appears to hang. After a period of time the session times out with a \"protocol error, please try to connect again\" type of error. The next day I set the screen saver to \"blank\" on the host PC and tried to connect to it again using Windows Remote Connection. This time I could connect fine and interact with my PC.

Might be worth looking in to.
