So has anyone heard anything about when Bern will be coming back online? I did the action suggested by Thyme to reset the upload duration but I would like to clear my transfer queue soon...

I downloaded it about 5 hours ago. I can't figure out how it thinks my p3 800 can handle a workunit like that. So I should abort the workunit then?

Ok well my P3 800MHz machine just downloaded a sulphur_cycle workunit. It immediately went into EDF and now no other projects are running. Hrmm. I also notice this workunit has an earlier deadline. Now it will run just this CPDN workunit for 6 months without downloading from the other projects. Should I continue running it even though it may not make the deadline or just abort it? If I do abort it is there any way to guarantee getting a regular hadsum_4.13 workunit with a one year deadline? I currently have a estimated time of 4710 hours and the deadline is 1/28/2006. Any info would be appreciated.

Is there any way to fun a BOINC project and another DC project on the same machine? I would like to run folding@home or google compute in addition to my boinc projects especially since LHC and Predictor have been down forever. My BOINC projects take up 100% of the CPU and the other (folding/google) get 0-1% of the CPU even though they are all running at low priority. Seems like it should balance b/t the different processes. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I had a workunit that I had crunched for quite a long time. It exited and now shows in my results as client error exited on sept 15. Now the WU folder on my hd is still there taking up 300MB. Is it safe to delete this? I have completed another WU succesfully and realize that I must keep the zip files it creates for future use. However this failed WU has no zip files in the dir since it exited early with errors. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Well I just completed my first CP workunit. The workunit was called WXYZ_bleh (sample). Under my c:\\boinc\\projects\\climateprediction.net\\WXYZ_bleh folder I still have 300 MB worth of data. In boinc that workunit is not listed since it is completed. I checked the messages tab and see where it uploaded several zip files. My question is if the workunit is finished and it has uploaded the results then why is there a directory with that workunit name using 300MB on my hard drive? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
