I should have remembered this from Seti where I had at least 2 of each host. I should have updated to XP SP2 before attaching to the project. Now I am going for the 2 of each again !!!!!!!!

&gt; Take a look at this <a> href="//climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/trickle.php?resultid=12677"&gt;WU</a>.
&gt; Around 3.6-3.8 s/TS or 11-12 hours/trickle with a Intel P4 Mobile 1.6 GHz.

I am in Ottawa the capital with lots of good snow and ice around here in the winter. The longest skating rink in the world, as they open up and groom a canal that runs for Km's. Nice place to live but in the middle of winter when I look out on the balcony and the thermometer says -32 C and in Aust it is summer, I miss the heat and a sun that has some heat in it.

You mentioned that as soon as I get a trickle I will begin to show up on the stats. How long does it take to get a trickle I have five PC's crunching at the moment all started with a few minutes of each other and the time left ranges from 588 to 1118 minutes depending on the size of the processor?

Thanks for the quick reply. I had a look for the stats for waynestanford who has some trickles for the team and he showed up. I should have done that first before sending the post. It shows him as being in BOINC@AUSTRALIA but when I search by BOINC@AUSTRALIA nothing comes up. I will give it some time as it is early days yet.

Thanks again for the super quick reply.

PS: I am an Aussie in Canada

&gt; Dingo,
&gt;
&gt; Here I am *smile* (quick hey)... luckily I too am an Australian.
&gt;
&gt; You dont show up in CPDN stats as your Total Credit is still ZERO. CPDN,
&gt; Predictor AND SETI XML files (created by the projects) DO NOT include members
&gt; or hosts with zero work units. This keeps the file sizes down significantly
&gt; (in SETI's case, if it were to put in the whole 5 million SETI classic members
&gt; the file would be over 1 GIGABYTE in size!)
&gt;
&gt; As soon as you send in a trickle your id will show up in the lists.
&gt;
&gt; Hope this helps.
&gt;
&gt; Cheers from Adelaide.

Hi

If there is anyone out there from any of the Statistic pages especially

BOINC Statistics for the WORLD!
Brought to you by BOINC Team - "SETI Synergy"
(100% SETI is there any other reason?)

I have aa account that was created 26 Aug 2004 10:26:57 UTC and I do not show up in the stats at all. When I search for my name I get the Predictor and Seti Stats but not Climate Stats. I also have a team called BOINC@AUSTRALIA that also does not show up on the stats.

Have the stats from Boinc Climate been Incorporated into "SETI Synergy" or any of the other independent statistics ?

Thanks all, I am happy that My Pc's will now always have work to do and never run out of packets.

&gt; &gt; Set your cache to 0 - 0 and update the project. This will allow you to
&gt; process
&gt; &gt; your remaining Predictor WUs without downloading any new work.
&gt; &gt;
&gt; &gt; You can also just install 4.05 over the top of the old .exe. No need to
&gt; &gt; uninstall.
&gt; &gt;
&gt; &gt; And Michela over at Predictor has said they will be switching to 4.05
&gt; earlier
&gt; &gt; than they had originally planned. :)
&gt; &gt;
&gt; You also do not need to detach/attach. Just install over the top, and let the
&gt; 3.x clients complain in the logs for a bit.

Hi

If after finishing the Work units on one of my PC\'s for predictor@home and I detach from the project so I can uninstall BOINC and Install the new version 4. What happens to the Stats for that PC in Predictor.

Are they lost from my score ?
Are they lost to the Team ?

I want to start ClimatePrediction but the other apps SETI and Predictor have not started using the new version and it will be at least the second week in September acording to the Predictor board before they upgrade.

Thanks

Hi

Predictor is now going up to 4 in September.

From the Predictor News:
The creation of new accounts is temporary closed. We will open again the creation of new accounts after the transition of our server to BOINC 4.x and the end of CASP (approximately the second week of September). Thanks for your patience.

Hi

I am running SETI,Predictor and now CPDN. I hope that CPDN does not have all the problems that SETI is still having. I cannot start crunching units I believe till all the projects get onto a 4. ?? platform.
