If you disable the network access, close the BOINC gui then restart it, network access is active again (by default). I\'m a dial-up user and I yet experiment that after an unrecoverable error, BOINC downloaded a new run without asking. So I\'d rather be sure that BOINC will not connect in the future without asking. A cold spot (betwwen -12 and -24Â°C) appears in tropical areas in Africa then disappears and appears again... Its position is not fixed, it is between Chad and Mauritania. And yes, I think that is a bit weird. But maybe it is due to the initial conditions of the run and the phenomenon will disappear.
